ScanProof lets you create, edit and preview resumes and cover letters, import an existing resume, run an ATS score check, and download a PDF. Scores, suggestions and templates are automated guidance only. We do not guarantee interviews, jobs, or acceptance by any employer or ATS software.
You are responsible for your login details and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
A clean PDF download costs USD 1.00 (resume or cover letter), or USD 1.50 for the resume + cover letter bundle, or the equivalent in Indian rupees shown at checkout. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes including GST unless stated otherwise. Editing and watermarked downloads are free. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator, using UPI, cards, net banking and wallets as shown at checkout. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. International cards may attract currency-conversion charges from your bank. We may change prices at any time; the price shown at checkout when you pay applies.
If money is debited but the download is not unlocked, or you are charged twice, email us with your payment ID. We will unlock the file or refund the amount as described in the Refund Policy. Failed transactions are normally auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days.
Because the PDF is a digital product delivered immediately, orders cannot be cancelled once the download is unlocked. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for the full rules.
The ScanProof name, logo, website design, code and template layouts belong to us. After payment you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the downloaded PDF for your own job applications. You may not copy, resell, scrape, redistribute or republish our templates or software, or use our brand without written permission. Your own resume content remains yours. Fair dealing under Section 52 of the Copyright Act, 1957 is not restricted.
Do not upload unlawful, false, defamatory or infringing content, attempt to hack, scrape or overload the site, bypass payment or watermarks, or use the site to harm others. We may remove content or block access for breach.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of job opportunity. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including internet, payment-gateway or hosting outages.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
Account data: name, email address and mobile number. Order data: amount, date and time, template, Razorpay payment and order IDs, and payment status. Resume data: the text and photo you enter. Technical data: browser, device and basic usage information. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password; these are handled by Razorpay and your bank.
To create your account, verify your email, deliver and unlock downloads, process payments and refunds, send order and sign-in confirmations, give support, prevent fraud and misuse, improve the service, and comply with law.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers under confidentiality duties, namely Razorpay (payments), email and hosting providers, or with authorities when required by law. Razorpay processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme and save your resume draft on your device. You can clear it from your browser settings.
Account and order records are kept as long as needed for the service and as the law requires (for example tax and accounting records), then deleted or anonymised.
You may access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights, by emailing us. We respond within a reasonable time, and no later than the law allows.
We use reasonable security safeguards, but no online system is perfectly secure.
The service is intended for adults. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent or guardian.

ScanProof sells a digital product: a PDF resume or cover letter that is generated and unlocked instantly after payment. Nothing is shipped physically.
You can cancel at any time before paying by closing the checkout. Once payment succeeds and the download is unlocked, the order cannot be cancelled, because the digital product has been delivered. The free watermarked download involves no payment and needs no cancellation.
We will refund in full, or re-deliver the file if you prefer, when: (a) the PDF failed to generate or download after payment and we cannot fix it; (b) you were charged more than once for the same order; (c) money was debited but the order was not confirmed; or (d) the file delivered is materially different from the template shown at purchase.
Because the file is delivered instantly, we do not refund for a change of mind, for choosing the wrong template, for mistakes in the content you entered (you can re-edit and re-download), or because an employer or ATS did not respond.
Email scanproofresume@gmail.com within 7 days of payment with your registered email, the Razorpay payment ID and a short description or screenshot. We acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within 5 working days.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Allow 5–7 working days after approval for the amount to reach your account; card and bank timelines may vary. Refunds in rupees may differ slightly from the original foreign-currency amount due to exchange rates.
If your payment fails but money is deducted, it is normally reversed automatically by your bank or Razorpay within 5–7 working days. If not, contact us with the transaction details.
Please contact us before raising a chargeback so we can resolve it quickly.

ScanProof delivers digital files only. We do not ship any physical goods, so no shipping charges apply.
Your PDF is unlocked and available to download immediately after Razorpay confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds. A confirmation email is sent to your registered address.
Use the Download PDF button on the site while signed in. The order and its payment ID are recorded against your account.
If your download is not unlocked within 30 minutes of a successful payment, email scanproofresume@gmail.com with your payment ID. We will fix it or refund you as described in the Refund Policy.
The service is available worldwide wherever Razorpay supports your payment method. Delivery may be briefly delayed by maintenance or events beyond our control.
